Dr. Trai Promsang graduated with honors from the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University in 2004. He subsequently obtained board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery and fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
His subspecialty expertise includes anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, with a personal surgical experience of over 1,000 cases. In addition, he has developed novel surgical techniques and published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Trai previously served as a faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, where he was honored with the Outstanding Teacher Award (2021), voted by medical students. He has also contributed as a co-editor of the national arthroscopy textbook, officially adopted by the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand for board examinations. He continues to be an invited speaker and live surgery demonstrator at numerous international scientific meetings.
He has completed a clinical observership in Limb Lengthening and Deformity Correction at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), New York—ranked the No. 1 hospital for orthopaedics in the United States. His training included the application of the Precice intramedullary lengthening nail for limb lengthening and stature lengthening procedures.
In addition, Dr. Trai has extensive experience in corrective osteotomy for bow leg and knock knee deformities, addressing lower limb malalignment in patients with structural abnormalities.
With over 20 years of clinical and surgical experience, Dr. Trai Promsang is highly recognized in the field of shoulder and knee surgery, encompassing both operative and non-operative management. His practice emphasizes accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and individualized care tailored to each patient’s condition.

เส้นเอ็นไขว้หน้าที่ขาด จะไม่สมานกันเองตามธรรมชาติและไม่สามารถเย็บซ่อมได้ กรณีที่ผู้ป่วยฝืนเล่นกีฬาและมีการบาดเจ็บซ้ำ จะทำให้หมอนรองเข่าฉีกขาดตามมา และมีกระดูกอ่อนบาดเจ็บ ส่งผลให้เกิดข้อเสื่อมได้

เส้นเอ็นไหล่เมื่อฉีกขาดแล้วจะไม่สมานกันเองตามธรรมชาติ ขนาดของรอยขาดจะใหญ่ขึ้นเรื่อยๆเมื่อเวลาผ่านไป ถ้าปล่อยทิ้งไว้ เส้นเอ็นที่ขาดจะหดตัวและไม่สามารถเย็บซ่อมได้อีก ซึ่งอาจทำให้มีข้อไหล่เสื่อมตามมาในอนาคต การวินิจฉัย ต้องทำการตรวจเอกซเรย์คลื่นแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า (MRI)
